What are enhancements?
Enhancements work around various technical issues of vanilla resources with Minecraft's ray tracing & further enhance appearance of blocks and entities wherever possible.
This page contains almost all of the latest information about the features currently available under Enhanced option.
Enhancements are now a subsection of Vanilla RTX resource packs and are developed separately, but are merged into the base resource packs for public release packages as well as updates delivered by the Vanilla RTX App. You can turn them off during installs while using the app, if you wish the pack to exclusively stick to utilizing officially-supported features, but for most people, you'll want them on.
Glowing Entity Enhancements:
Mobs that have glowing parts in vanilla Minecraft can now display the same glow with ray tracing.
Entity Invisibility Issues Fix:
Invisibility effect now properly hides models of the following entities when ray tracing is enabled: Spider, Cave Spider, Phantom and Enderman

Workarounds for Black Entities, Missing Textures & Animations:

- Missing copper golem eyes (MCPE-227676), additionally copper golem eyes now glow with a unique bloom effect that wanes as the golem oxidizes.
- Villager and Zombie Villager texture issues have been resolved, villager models have been enhanced with more detail (MCPE-111414)
Known remaining issues with villagers and zombie villagers:
- Performance impact may be larger when too many villagers are present.
- Texture Z-fighting may occur without ray tracing.
- Still villager heads may occasionally flicker with ray tracing.
- Fixed Sulfur Cube's rendering issues with ray tracing.
Creaking eyes now glow similar to Eyeblossoms with a new unique bloom effect, the eyes now remain visible when the creaking itself is invisible, black texture issues have also been resolved.

Fixed tropical fish patterns not being composited properly if the fish's base layer is transparent. (i.e. causing large parts of fish fins to go invisible with ray tracing)
Chiseled Bookshelves are now functional with ray tracing, see Vanilla RTX 1.21.50 update changelogs for workaround details (MCPE-166159)

Enhancement: Every rasterized particle has been adjusted where needed in order to blend in with the ray-traced world.
With his bright purple gaze, the Enderman congratulates you for making it this far down!
There are several other bug fixes & enhancements included, but to keep it short they've been omitted from this page. Overall the Enhanced option is here to is to resolve as many issues as possible, and in a literal sense:
